Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Snäll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Arratia, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Hondo Arratia might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hondo Arratia ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Hondo Arratia sent off a good shot on target. If Apoena Ocaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Lacorte in the 12th minute. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Manolo Lacorte 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Manolo Lacorte tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Manolo Lacorte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Manolo Lacorte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 22 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Rayo Tharkad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Rayo Tharkad's Zumar Figueroa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Arratia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hondo Arratia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Snäll having to interfere. Rayo Tharkad's Adolfo Hevia was substituted for Hondo Arratia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Hevia got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes in the game, Feliciano Roig fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Manolo Lacorte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Manolo Lacorte scored 4-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes Rayo Tharkad got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Hevia. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Snäll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Manolo Lacorte made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apoena Ocaña went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Apoena Ocaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apoena Ocaña in the 67th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Manolo Lacorte made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Apoena Ocaña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Tharkad's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Snäll came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manolo Lacorte hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Roig in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Lacorte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When Rayo Tharkad's Manolo Lacorte in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rayo Tharkad had played much better football throughout.
