Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Clarence Pumaren started the match with the kick off. Bayan Bonzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bayan Bonzon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayan Bonzon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clarence Pumaren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Bayan Bonzon came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Clarence Pumaren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bayan Bonzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Bayan Bonzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Clarence Pumaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Archie Balabagan in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Henriqua Tucay charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henriqua Tucay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Bonzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bayan Bonzon having to interfere. In the 56th minute Kyoto Sanga F.C. were awarded a corner. Victorino Balondo went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clarence Pumaren in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayan Bonzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bayan Bonzon. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. Wilbur Joson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilbur Joson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kyoto Sanga F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Wilbur Joson hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s goalkeeper Bayan Bonzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Mancebo. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Wilbur Joson was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bayan Bonzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Diego Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Bonzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador played a much better game than Kyoto Sanga F.C. and deserved their victory. The Kyoto Sanga F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
