With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Feliciano Su threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Trifillia.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Pirimachos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kakavetsis in the 24th minute of the match. Nikos Kakavetsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jassem Al Khars in the 35th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano's late challenge caught a Trifillia.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Camilo Covarrubias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Trifillia.FC got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Bilge Bartu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Mehmet Bilge Bartu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ponciano De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Trifillia.FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
