Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vasile Bouleanu in the 3 minute of the game. Nistor Calomfir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 5th minute of the match. Vasile Bouleanu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Bouleanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Bouleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Nistor Calomfir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 9th minute of play. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. After 10 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Christian Sancho. After a rather tough play, FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Gigi Negru got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 played minutes FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Bunescu. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-. Lautaro Navarro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Moise Hârlău. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play forced FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Nistor Calomfir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Nistor Calomfir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of play. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nistor Calomfir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Hârlău to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Daniel Pascu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vasile Bouleanu made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florin Busuioc during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luca Espinar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Calomfir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Calomfir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nistor Calomfir made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Pascu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Daniel Pascu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Nistor Calomfir made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Vasile Bouleanu made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes in the game Vasile Bouleanu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moise Hârlău. Nistor Calomfir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Moises Tafalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s Nistor Calomfir did a great save. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pascu in the 81st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pascu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vasile Bouleanu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Calomfir came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 91st minute of play forced FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Nistor Calomfir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras played a much better game than FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- and deserved their victory. The FC Univ. Craiova-Stiinta- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
