Nightmare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tang Han was slow to take the kick. During this time Nightmare's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tang Han got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 20th minute of play forced Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Lenertej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. After 28 minutes Nightmare's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmund Lenertej quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edmund Lenertej was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Pryla in the 41st minute of play. The Nightmare fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Nightmare's Marco Benitez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edmund Lenertej, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Chevalier to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmund Lenertej quite easily take care of the ball. The corner led Nightmare's Tang Han to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Edmund Lenertej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Nightmare made a substitution. Taka Jachvadze replaced Aaron Chevalier. Nightmare made a substitution. Ademir de Sena replaced Marco Benitez. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Nightmare from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmund Lenertej came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nightmare's Witold Pryla. But to his dismay, Witold Pryla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With his leg Edmund Lenertej managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir de Sena came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Taka Jachvadze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nightmare and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Taka Jachvadze hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Edmund Lenertej was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goalkeeper Edmund Lenertej had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
