Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Ubarna in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Teobaldo Ubarna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Tomas Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Lucas Cresconio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tomas Snow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna. But to his dismay, Teobaldo Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Colombia booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalin Golubarev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Snow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Tomas Snow in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after El Renacer del Quijano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Ubarna to make the kick off. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peneios Protopsaltis to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Snow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Tomas Snow came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Santino Seco. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Orlando Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peneios Protopsaltis in the 75th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Snow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Snow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Snow came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Ignacio Mastache. But to his dismay, Ignacio Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 88 played minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC got a freekick which was hit by Peneios Protopsaltis. Tomas Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 93rd minute of play forced El Renacer del Quijano FC's goalkeeper Tomas Snow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute of play. The Colombia manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing El Renacer del Quijano FC to win.
