After a defensive mix-up in Fúria FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Teles came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fúria FC's Juninho Teles. Juninho Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Celsinho Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wágner Dante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play.

Despite being the better team, Fúria FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
