The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoforos Zografos in the 3rd minute of play. Ponciano De Pedro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kakavetsis in the 8th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jassem Al Khars's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Villa. 14 minutes into the game, Jassem Al Khars cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Bilge Bartu who took care of the corner kick. Camilo Freixa stood somewhat misplaced when Jassem Al Khars came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. If Jassem Al Khars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Trifillia.FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mehmet Bilge Bartu hit a great ball. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. After 44 minutes, Nikos Kakavetsis made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jassem Al Khars to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Jassem Al Khars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jassem Al Khars in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. When Trifillia.FC's Jassem Al Khars in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. During the 77th minute of the match Eduardo Fontirroig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eduardo Fontirroig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kakavetsis came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Su to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kakavetsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikos Kakavetsis's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Nikos Kakavetsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Nikos Kakavetsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trifillia.FC had played much better football throughout.
