The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Gunnarsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Princs Peach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Blomqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Princs Peach in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Princs Peach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Princs Peach in the 66th minute of play. When Bänknötarnas BK's Bo-Erik Blomqvist in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Princs Peach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
