The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Trifillia.FC's Christos Kavourdoukos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Christos Kavourdoukos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trifillia.FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christos Kavourdoukos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Christos Kavourdoukos got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Kyle Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curacao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Davies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Stavropodis in the 12th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Sakis Sardelis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bruno Barrett to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Avraam Stavropodis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 2-0. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Makis Tsipas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Adamantios Charalambous. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 46th minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Christos Agathoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Wallace in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makis Tsipas in the 54th minute of play. Sakis Sardelis struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trifillia.FC. In the 61st minute, Rocco Owen had to leave the field with a concussion. When Thalis Pirimachos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trifillia.FC's protests and gave Thalis Pirimachos a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Prokopis Mamais came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakis Sardelis in the 67th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menios Kapsis's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menios Kapsis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Menios Kapsis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avraam Stavropodis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avraam Stavropodis, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Stanley Wallace hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Christos Agathoulis got control of the ball when Jaiden Hudson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christos Agathoulis was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Jaiden Hudson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaiden Hudson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Trifillia.FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
