The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes Bänknötarnas BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Bänknötarnas BK defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Björk. The Bänknötarnas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Björk should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Kurt Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
