Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute of play forced CHEMSY's goalkeeper Wit Brzeszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Brzeszczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 13th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Marco Tamayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wit Brzeszczak. CHEMSY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Tamayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 27th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Brzeszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Borys Tomaka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. The supporters of CHEMSY booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Magrina's late challenge caught a CHEMSY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Magrina helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Magrina. In the 37th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Brzeszczak having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Borys Tomaka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Magrina fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 56th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Wit Brzeszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to CHEMSY getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ramon Zadelhoff hit a great ball. A hard shot by Mateo Leguizamo from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Wit Brzeszczak's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Moises Fernandino scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wit Brzeszczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Tomaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match El Salvador got a corner. CHEMSY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Leguizamo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mateo Leguizamo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CHEMSY's Wit Brzeszczak did a great save. After 89 minutes of play, CHEMSY's Borys Tomaka made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
