Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clarence Pumaren got the match started through his kick off. The throw-in from Lloyd Santiago in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clarence Pumaren in the 7th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Moises Tafalla hit a great ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Kyoto Sanga F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Aurelius Latap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Archie Balabagan in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Bayan Bonzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luca Espinar fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Luca Espinar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bayan Bonzon, 1-0. In the 46th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Bayan Bonzon didn't even have to move. Bayan Bonzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Kyoto Sanga F.C. booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Aurelius Latap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clarence Pumaren in the 75th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Balabagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute, Clarence Pumaren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Clarence Pumaren came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Nicholas Macasa made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clarence Pumaren in the 91st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kyoto Sanga F.C. the free kick. After 92 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. In the 93rd match minute, Kyoto Sanga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Balabagan to maneuver through the defense. Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Lloyd Santiago quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Tafalla, made in the 95th minute of the game. The Honduras supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Kyoto Sanga F.C..
