The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radoslaw Kaszubik during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Wit Brzeszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. In the 7th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Prus, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. A collision led to CHEMSY getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ramon Zadelhoff hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Hector Covarrubias made a precise shot to the right of Wit Brzeszczak. CHEMSY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wit Brzeszczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 19 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wit Brzeszczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! When CHEMSY's Borys Tomaka in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Tomaka in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CHEMSY's Wit Brzeszczak. Wit Brzeszczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CHEMSY's Borys Tomaka was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Brzeszczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CHEMSY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 1-4.

After having played for 53 minutes, Borys Tomaka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHEMSY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Tomaka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute Borys Tomaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CHEMSY getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ramon Zadelhoff hit a great ball. Wit Brzeszczak came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Xavier Zoido's late challenge caught a CHEMSY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Zoido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 minutes, Tolek Prus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHEMSY and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CHEMSY's Tolek Prus got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Wit Brzeszczak was a little too slow when Juan Diego Tenorio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-6. 91 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wit Brzeszczak. CHEMSY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Paraguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
