Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alfonso de la Cruz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 14th playminute. Club Vertigo's Narcis Popoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Chirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ismael Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Chirea to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Marchiș. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 57th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Narcis Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tudor Ionașcu charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The excitement rose when Bolivia's Julio Chicote after 77 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Club Vertigo's goalkeeper to hold. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Villa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Alfonso de la Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Narcis Popoiu. Club Vertigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. If Damian Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bolivia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Vertigo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
