Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 46th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Fonseca in the 84th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Fonseca in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Di Biagio in the 87th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
