In the 6th minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wit Brzeszczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Tomaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Wit Brzeszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 16th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Brzeszczak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 23rd minute of play forced CHEMSY's goalkeeper Wit Brzeszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wit Brzeszczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Kaszubik in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes CHEMSY got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Golota. Wit Brzeszczak was a little too slow when Eliseo Noboa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. After 46 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Adam Wielgopolski took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. The supporters of CHEMSY booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The CHEMSY fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when CHEMSY's Borys Tomaka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Adam Wielgopolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHEMSY's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Wielgopolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in CHEMSY's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Brzeszczak came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Brzeszczak. Wit Brzeszczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Prus in the 70th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Radoslaw Kaszubik sent off a good shot on target. Wit Brzeszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Wielgopolski got free with Benito Sanz in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CHEMSY's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, CHEMSY's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Wit Brzeszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Brzeszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Adam Wielgopolski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-3. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adam Wielgopolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the CHEMSY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Costa Rica.
