When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Astra Zduny booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Fărcașu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Astra Zduny's Alfredão Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Salvador Gisbert in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Astra Zduny's Adam Fărcașu. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play forced Astra Zduny's goalkeeper Blas Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredão Oliveira went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the game, 邱星真 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astra Zduny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. 邱星真 hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Oliveira in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulhamit Yavaş came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Abdulhamit Yavaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Astra Zduny had played much better football throughout.
