Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arcadio Ostermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timmy Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zantos IF's David Samuelsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. Rolf Theys hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arcadio Ostermann. Arcadio Ostermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zantos IF's goalie prevented a goal. Arcadio Ostermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zantos IF's Arcadio Ostermann. Arcadio Ostermann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 27th minute of play forced Zantos IF's goalkeeper Arcadio Ostermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arcadio Ostermann. Arcadio Ostermann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Arcadio Ostermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gaudencio Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gaudencio Enekoitz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After 63 played minutes, Zantos IF's Greger Siggesson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zantos IF reached it. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Timmy Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Zantos IF's Timmy Glad shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 80 minutes into the match, Zantos IF's goalkeeper Arcadio Ostermann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Glad in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arcadio Ostermann saved Zantos IF from getting behind. In the 84th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 91st match minute, Zantos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Uter to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arcadio Ostermann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Glad during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Timmy Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
