A collision led to ☝️ JÖH ☝️ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Samim Balcı hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gürsel Demirdelen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gürsel Demirdelen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ☝️ JÖH ☝️'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürsel Demirdelen came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gürsel Demirdelen came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig. But to his dismay, Juan Sebastián Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gürsel Demirdelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ☝️ JÖH ☝️'s goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samim Balcı made a kick off. After some careless play in the ☝️ JÖH ☝️ defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürsel Demirdelen. The ☝️ JÖH ☝️ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürsel Demirdelen should have stopped the shot. 55 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gürsel Demirdelen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 60 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Gürsel Demirdelen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Gürsel Demirdelen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derviş Canaydin during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
