Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiberiu Caramarin got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie was slow to take the kick. During this time MIT's players had a chance to rest. Mihăiţă Ilarie made a great header on MIT's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. 6 minutes into the game, Joshua Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick. After 6 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Garrido. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 8th minute of play. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. MIT's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiberiu Caramarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin. But to his dismay, Tiberiu Caramarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Dorin Banu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Colombia booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Ilarie didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes MIT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Calistrat Madgearu quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 57th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 61st minute of the match. Romeo Gherghescu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiberiu Caramarin went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Seremet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MIT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 73rd minute. MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tunander in the 78th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Florin Seremet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. MIT walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
