Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Horacio Frisco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Horacio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 40th minute of play. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The Partemi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Frisco should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a little luck, Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chip Froggatt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horacio Frisco firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Partemi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Partemi FC's Horacio Frisco did a great save. In the 90th match minute, Partemi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Paschalidis to maneuver through the defense. Partemi FC's Honorio Basajaun was substituted for Panos Paschalidis. Panos Paschalidis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Partemi FC throughout the match.
