Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Stenqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Tallboda Gunners's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frans Billström quite easily take care of the ball. Linus Stenqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 8th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Stenqvist in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tallboda Gunners's Robin Nordlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Frans Billström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Stenqvist in the 28th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niklas Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Tallboda Gunners's Linus Stenqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tallboda Gunners the free kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Linus Stenqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Linus Stenqvist struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tallboda Gunners. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 59th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Billström having to interfere. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Karl-Erik Ahlbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Skytt was slow to take the kick. During this time Tallboda Gunners's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Erling Walroth almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Tallboda Gunners's Karl-Erik Ahlbom. But to his dismay, Karl-Erik Ahlbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
