Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montes Quevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Montes Quevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. Montes Quevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Aurelio Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 67th minute of play forced Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montes Quevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 67th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Fetiyerd's Kenneth Heise made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raymond Litago's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Litago helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Raymond Litago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fetiyerd made a substitution. Oliverios Astudillo replaced Vinicio Carballeira. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montes Quevedo having to interfere. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Heise in the 77th minute of play. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Alberto Tafalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. During the 88th minute of the match Raymond Litago completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Raymond Litago a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Raymond Litago kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fetiyerd's goalkeeper Montes Quevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Montes Quevedo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
