Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Salvador España tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Manel Cardeñosa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Salvador España despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. When Manel Cardeñosa came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Intxaurrondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manel Cardeñosa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Intxaurrondo got a freekick which was hit by Artur Osowski. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Manel Cardeñosa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Nestor Van Den Broek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Manel Cardeñosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manel Cardeñosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Van Den Broek in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 66 played minutes Intxaurrondo got a freekick which was hit by Cordareo Folch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Salvador España in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Intxaurrondo's Cordareo Folch got a free kick in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvador España. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Intxaurrondo's Salvador España proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Intxaurrondo from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Van Den Broek in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Intxaurrondo got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Gorbea ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Intxaurrondo's corner Cordareo Folch fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador España. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador España took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Intxaurrondo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
