Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Bento started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Abeijon was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Jedi Knights's David Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 6th minute of play. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jedi Knights's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Abeijon came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Guillem got free with Julio Vera in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Joel Bento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Jedi Knights booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Baldomiro Tolino from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of David Abeijon. Jedi Knights's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. David Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Bento in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jedi Knights's David Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Jedi Knights from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Abeijon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Guillem came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Guillem scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agustín Saelices was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Abeijon could save by the left post. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Jedi Knights's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Jedi Knights's David Abeijon managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with David Abeijon in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Abeijon could save by the left post. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
