Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 54th minute of the match. The Youth Project's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Lucas Young, making the score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Young saved The Youth Project from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Lucas Young however easily saved by the left post. When Harry Colman fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Youth Project's protests and gave Harry Colman a yellow card for diving instead. Ecuador played a much better game than The Youth Project and deserved their victory. The The Youth Project players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
