The supporters of Peru booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedih Rafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Melberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save.
