Juan-Alfredo Verges made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Admon. Longchamps club's Eriberto Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's attentive Patricio Costa managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Admon made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sergio Longhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Patricio Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Longhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Maiorga in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maiorga in the 39th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Longchamps club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cidro Dorado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longchamps club the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Longhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Gaston Leoncio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gaston Leoncio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaston Leoncio was slow to take the kick. During this time Longchamps club's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Urdaspal during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Longchamps club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aurelio Urdaspal hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Longchamps club got a freekick which was hit by Cidro Dorado. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 彭榕威 in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Juan-Alfredo Verges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longchamps club and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan-Alfredo Verges hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Longchamps club's Sergio Longhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 70th minute of play. Patricio Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Longchamps club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
