Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 6 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herman Benett who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bengt-Rune Berg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bengt-Rune Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but George Kristiansson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Rune Berg during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt-Rune Berg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Milagros Fraga in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Di Röe's Kent Gunnarsson. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Kristiansson was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Julian Murillo sped through Di Röe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of George Kristiansson. George Kristiansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Melberg made a kick off. Moises Gayoso made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Di Röe's Malte Hedström. 55 minutes into the match, Sten Melberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Melberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Bengt-Rune Berg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Di Röe made a substitution. Arnaldo da Fonseca replaced Sten Melberg. Di Röe made a substitution. Knut Engström replaced Elliot Kellbom. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Knut Engström got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. 78 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Di Röe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Luz Tejedor scored to the left of an out of position George Kristiansson, making the score, 1-3. George Kristiansson was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Kristiansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 94th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
