Liden FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Liden FF booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Sven-Ove Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced Liden FF's goalkeeper Sven-Ove Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Liden FF's Felix Vennersten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 28 played minutes Liden FF got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Ahlström. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Vennersten in the 31st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Liden FF got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vidar Vikström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 32 played minutes Liden FF got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Vlas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Seco during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liden FF's 孙默阳 got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson. Sven-Ove Eliasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Liden FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 1-2.

Vidar Vikström made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and 孙默阳 immediately put the ball in play. After 60 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vidar Vikström who took care of the corner kick. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
