The audience was convinced that Borys Tomaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. With a little luck, CHEMSY's Wit Brzeszczak got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Radoslaw Kaszubik fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHEMSY's protests and gave Radoslaw Kaszubik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bolivia booed when CHEMSY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Kaszubik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Madrid charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Madrid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Madrid hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Tomaka in the 54th minute of the match. If Adam Wielgopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Adam Wielgopolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wit Brzeszczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 74th match minute, CHEMSY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslaw Kaszubik to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Tomaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joshua Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wit Brzeszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Borys Tomaka's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Tomaka in the 95th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
