Francisco Gallo made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alfredo Ferrant however managed to control. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ismael Tejedor hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Alfonso de la Cruz threw the ball into play from the sideline. 61 Büyük Türk FK's Baskın Tekinalp quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Baskın Tekinalp scored 4-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Ismael Tejedor in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 61 Büyük Türk FK's Aktuğ Şiraz. Kadri Ekin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Chicote showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 41 minute of play. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Ekin having to interfere. Bülent Mücip hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

In the 80th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadri Ekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadri Ekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Chicote, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
