With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebiu Siniştean in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. After 5 minutes, Eduard Culcer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eduard Culcer hit a great ball. During the 11th minute of the match Eduard Culcer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eduard Culcer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 13th minute of play forced MIT's goalkeeper Iulian Burtea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iulian Burtea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes MIT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to a score. 1-0 in the 21st minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Burtea having to interfere. Iulian Burtea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Burtea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iulian Burtea firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eusebiu Siniştean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Burtea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MIT defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iulian Burtea. The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iulian Burtea should have stopped the shot. After 63 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Burtea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Iulian Burtea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Burtea was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 78thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIT's Iulian Burtea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iulian Burtea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Burtea. MIT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Burtea having to interfere. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
