An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32nd play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Ikonom Brúmbarov and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 44th minute Pavel Kenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. Pavel Kenov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Kenov in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ikonom Brúmbarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Pavel Kenov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Iskren Drazhev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ikonom Brúmbarov in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Temida Sf's goalkeeper Ikonom Brúmbarov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 89th minute.
