Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Druțu Daniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Druțu Daniel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 7 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 23rdth minute of the game Liu Chao Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Nae Lalescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Club 23 fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Club 23's Liu Chao Xiao looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Volodya Kirov hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club 23's Sören Malmberg. Sören Malmberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Club 23's Liu Chao Xiao. But to his dismay, Liu Chao Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 59th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Liu Chao Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Chao Xiao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sören Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Chao Xiao in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Sören Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of play forced Club 23's goalkeeper Sören Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 88th minute. Agustín Saelices's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustín Saelices helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club 23 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball.
