Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johannes Mickelsson got the match started through his kick off. Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Ulvis Kreigers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 8 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers. Ulvis Kreigers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johannes Mickelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johannes Mickelsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Bäckeby Fotboll's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bäckeby Fotboll's corner Johannes Mickelsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulvis Kreigers. Ulvis Kreigers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Johannes Mickelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Mickelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 18th minute. Ulvis Kreigers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Zbyszek Pruss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulvis Kreigers saved Bäckeby Fotboll from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bäckeby Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Albäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Bäckeby Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Hjälm. Johannes Mickelsson's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Mickelsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bäckeby Fotboll getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ulvis Kreigers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Johannes Mickelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Sundström hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Bäckeby Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Sundström to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62ndth minute of the game Johannes Mickelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Mickelsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulvis Kreigers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. Bäckeby Fotboll made a substitution. Johannes Jansson replaced Johannes Mickelsson. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bäckeby Fotboll's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bäckeby Fotboll's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Zorita in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulvis Kreigers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Leif Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bäckeby Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Samuelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulvis Kreigers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Johannes Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Johannes Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Johannes Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bäckeby Fotboll fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
