Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 杨斌常 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 杨斌常 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After having played for 25 minutes, Gonzalo De Los Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falso Valencia CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo De Los Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Gonzalo De Los Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. A collision led to Falso Valencia CF getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bayan Bongo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Pankracy Hludzenski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falso Valencia CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Pankracy Hludzenski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, 顾珂默 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Stefan Naidenov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Naidenov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 顾珂默 made a kick off. If Gonzalo De Los Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Naidenov in the 55th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. 杨斌常 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Falso Valencia CF's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Falso Valencia CF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 63 played minutes Falso Valencia CF got a freekick which was hit by Bayan Bongo. In the 65th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杨斌常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 柯思德 struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falso Valencia CF. With his leg 杨斌常 managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Naidenov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falso Valencia CF's Robert Ayala was substituted for Pedrão Magalhães. After a rather tough play, Falso Valencia CF's Gonzalo De Los Santos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Falso Valencia CF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Falso Valencia CF were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
