Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Hustaz Quijana. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Voicu in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentin Voicu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After 13 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. With his leg Baraxil Sarrate managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraxil Sarrate having to interfere. Baraxil Sarrate made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. Valentin Voicu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraxil Sarrate having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VILLARREAL UNITED were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Valentin Voicu made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Voicu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Valentin Voicu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Valentin Voicu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baraxil Sarrate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VILLARREAL UNITED's Nofre Madariaga was substituted for Florian Pruss. After 64 minutes VILLARREAL UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Baraxil Sarrate despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Valentin Voicu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the VILLARREAL UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Voicu couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Delmar Campello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 82nd minute of play. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Juan Sebastián Puig with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Valentin Voicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing VILLARREAL UNITED to win.
