Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Bäckeby Fotboll a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johannes Mickelsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 0-2. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Johannes Mickelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Ulrik Källberg got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zbyszek Pruss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Mickelsson in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bäckeby Fotboll's Ulvis Kreigers got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Bäckeby Fotboll getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ulrik Källberg hit a great ball. Leif Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Mickelsson in the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Mickelsson in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Bäckeby Fotboll's goalkeeper Ulvis Kreigers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulvis Kreigers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ulvis Kreigers in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Bäckeby Fotboll were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Mickelsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Samuelsson in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Bäckeby Fotboll's Leif Samuelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ulvis Kreigers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ulvis Kreigers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Mickelsson in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Bäckeby Fotboll's Johannes Mickelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Bäckeby Fotboll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulvis Kreigers having to make a save. Bäckeby Fotboll played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
