In the 11th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Malmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute. Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes in the game, Orlando Casaus dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Sören Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play. Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 25th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sören Malmberg was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Dacian Săraru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club 23's attentive Druțu Daniel managed to snatch the ball when Jose Manzanedo made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Chao Xiao got free with Thiago Pliego in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Liu Chao Xiao sent off a good shot on target. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chile. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Liu Chao Xiao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Chao Xiao in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liu Chao Xiao got free with Thiago Pliego in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Săraru hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Club 23 got a penalty, and Liu Chao Xiao placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 97 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Bogdanović. Chile walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
