Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erwin Bush got the match started through his kick off. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sébastien Hodges in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 8th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goalkeeper Arden Ryder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Carmen Langford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sébastien Hodges's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After 26 minutes, Andy Olson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arden Ryder went to the wrong direction when Jaime Cazalla was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arden Ryder came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arden Ryder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arden Ryder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Alberto Gisbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arden Ryder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-1.

In the 55thth minute of the game Erwin Bush who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Kip McFarland made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clark Lamontagne. Arden Ryder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Sébastien Hodges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Dana Winston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Dana Winston kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Uruguay played a much better game than FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 and deserved their victory. The FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
