Arden Ryder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 谢皓亮 in the 9th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erwin Bush showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 15th match minute, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewey Poe to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arden Ryder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dewey Poe hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Erwin Bush got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 26th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goalie and right to Dylan Sarmiento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 28 minutes into the match, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Arden Ryder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arden Ryder saved FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arden Ryder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arden Ryder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢皓亮 in the 43rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Lamontagne in the 54th minute of the match. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 58th minute. Sébastien Hodges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arden Ryder having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 谢皓亮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arden Ryder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 got a freekick which was hit by Carmen Langford. In the 70th minute, Sébastien Hodges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arden Ryder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Carmen Langford got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Erwin Bush. But to his dismay, Erwin Bush quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Bush in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919's Arden Ryder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Panama booed when FCUniversitatea Cluj 1919 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kip McFarland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arden Ryder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 谢皓亮 in the 95th minute of play.
