Derman Uysal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. The Uxamancia FC fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Uxamancia FC's Doroteo Viqueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reyes Tobias, made in the 39th minute of the game. Orlando Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ioseba Acedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derman Uysal made a kick off. Ioseba Acedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uxamancia FC's Ioseba Acedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Derman Uysal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uxamancia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doroteo Viqueira in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. When Derman Uysal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Uxamancia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derman Uysal couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
