Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vygandas Morkus in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the game, Nadruvis's Vygandas Morkus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vygandas Morkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play forced Nadruvis's goalkeeper Egidijus Petukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the game, Vygandas Morkus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Vygandas Morkus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 28 played minutes, Nadruvis's Donatas Kasiulis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nadruvis reached it. Egidijus Petukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Daumantas Navikas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadruvis. Paulius Mataitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Mataitis in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Egidijus Petukas made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daumantas Navikas in the 66th minute of play. When Jonathan Venegas fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jonathan Venegas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Paulius Mataitis took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egidijus Petukas. That made the score 3-2 after 83 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daumantas Navikas went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Daumantas Navikas sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.
