The supporters of Panama booed when P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Kallergis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Kavaliaratos came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kavaliaratos in the 34th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Konstantinos Kavaliaratos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. Panagiotis Lazaratos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Panagiotis Lazaratos slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Akis Stathakis sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantinos Kavaliaratos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Kavaliaratos in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Apostolos Moisiadis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Stathakis in the 57th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felipe Ros fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Felipe Ros a yellow card for diving instead. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaros Serdaris came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasios Politakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 65th minute of play. Tomas Berganza scored 5-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasios Politakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Kavaliaratos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Politakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaros Serdaris in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Konstantinos Kavaliaratos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After 94 played minutes P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Vrakas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 95th minute of play forced P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s goalkeeper Anastasios Politakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
