Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Tudor Ionașcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Ionașcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sabin Corcoveanu's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabin Corcoveanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 17 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Narcis Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Văleanu to maneuver through the defense. Narcis Popoiu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Axel Tasis. In the 34th minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcis Popoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Narcis Popoiu made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narcis Popoiu. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Narcis Popoiu to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tudor Ionașcu made the kick off in the second half. Club Vertigo's Narcis Popoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Damian Tirulescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a Club Vertigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Costică Dindelegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Club Vertigo's Narcis Popoiu. Narcis Popoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tudor Ionașcu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Ionașcu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 97th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Narcis Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Vertigo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
