With 3 minutes on the clock, Ralph Cramer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Romon Oliver. But to his dismay, Romon Oliver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Hofland to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SV Wissenkerke's Izaak Kluivert got a free kick in the 15th minute. Finlay Stair took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenneth van der Leegte. SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Kenneth van der Leegte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Bombarda 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stef Mol was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Karlus Waugh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Stef Mol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Finlay Stair reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenneth van der Leegte. The goal made the score 2-2. 65 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Kenneth van der Leegte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth van der Leegte made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Finlay Stair sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, SV Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leendert Looze to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Karlus Waugh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenneth van der Leegte. That made the score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 73rd minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth van der Leegte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romon Oliver in the 94th minute of play forced SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leendert Looze during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
