Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martyn Featherstone got the match started through his kick off. Harry Colman hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. The Youth Project's Lucas Young proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save The Youth Project from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Alfie Chivers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Carballar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martyn Featherstone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfie Chivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martyn Featherstone in the 35th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by The Youth Project's Alfie Chivers. But to his dismay, Alfie Chivers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Martyn Featherstone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Lucas Young showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of the match. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 51 played minutes The Youth Project got a freekick which was hit by Paddy Ackland. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Young saved The Youth Project from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 56th minute of play forced The Youth Project's goalkeeper Lucas Young to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Youth Project's Kristopher Sykes got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of the match. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 61st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Martyn Featherstone capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martyn Featherstone really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 65th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Young showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 72nd minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. Abram Secada made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that The Youth Project's Lucas Young managed to reach the ball for a save. Alfie Chivers helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in The Youth Project's zone, Abram Secada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Young came out of the goal and Abram Secada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 86th minute of the match. The Youth Project's Lucas Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 87th minute of play. When Joe Llyod fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Youth Project's protests and gave Joe Llyod a yellow card for diving instead. Joe Llyod hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, The Youth Project's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Lucas Young reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Lucas Young didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia.
