In the 35th minute, Lazaros Serdaris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 45thth minute of the game Konstantinos Kavaliaratos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anestis Kolofotias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Konstantinos Kavaliaratos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Apostolos Moisiadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Apostolos Moisiadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Lazaros Serdaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Apostolos Moisiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Apostolos Moisiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
